Keep West End Weird
Adoring and celebrating the weirdness and unsurpassed strangeness that is West End. Those in this group are fervently against the ‘normalisation’, gentrification, over-development and commoditisation of West End.
This is a network of Brisbane residents, community organisations and political organisations. Collectively, they are opposed to the current Kurilpa Master Plan. The current draft plan proposes sizable population growth but doesn’t add the necessary ingredients to ensure the basic needs of new, and existing residents, are met.
