Neighbourhood Watch aspires to maintain a safe and pleasant place in which to live, work and relax. Register with the Yeronga branch and help ensure that we continue to live in a friendly, low crime area.
The purpose of this website is to provide information on a range of community groups and organisations active in the Yeronga/Fairfield/Yerongpilly area. It is a central, coordinated site to increase the awareness and involvement of local residents in the varied activities happening in the local area. Pantry Assist at Church of Christ (Annerley)
Pantry Assist provides food parcels to struggling families and individuals. Items available include cereal, lunchbox fillers, longlife milk, tin soups and fresh vegetables, fruit and bread. Food products and availability vary from week to week. A small fee is charged per item to cover costs. The Pantry is open on Tuesdays, 10:00am-12:00pm.

Yeronga Community Gardens Group
The Yeronga Community Gardens Group is a thriving place for people of all ages to come together to grow and share food and knowledge, work towards a sustainable future, and in doing so add to the fabric and resilience of the local community.
Where: Yeronga Community Centre (Kurilpa Scouts Hall, cnr Park Road and Villa Street) and Yeronga State High School (cnr Taunton and Oakwood Streets).

Yeronga Fairfield Bushcare Group
This group is passionate about establishing, maintaining and rehabilitating natural vegetation along the Brisbane River, which is an important natural corridor within the Brisbane area, and a natural asset central to the amenity of the local area. The work of this group has many benefits including wildlife habitat, erosion control of river banks, and improved amenity for all. Brisbane City Council actively supports this program, and provides access to experts on weed management, native wildlife and vegetation.
